Specimen Requirements

Use Hemosure specimen collection kit and follow instructions contained in kit. Instructions can also be found in the "Patient Collection Instructions" section of this catalog.  

Random stool specimen must be collected in Hemosure-specific sample vial immediately after defecation.

Sample must cover the entire grooved portion of the sample probe.

Specimen stable in sample vial for 6 days at room temperature or 30 days refrigerated.
