Specimen Requirements
Collect blood in a plain, red-top tube(s) 8 to 12 hours after last dose. (Serum gel tube is not acceptable.)
Centrifuge, separate serum from cells and send 1 mL of serum refrigerated.
Stability: 7 days at 2-8°C

0.6-1.2 mmol/L
Critical value: >1.5 mmol/L
