Specimen Requirements
10 g of stool in a screw-capped, sterile container collected after onset of symptoms (3-5 days have highest yield). Send specimen refrigerated. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.
Specimens should be tested as soon as possible but may be stored up to 72 hrs at 2-8°C
