Specimen Requirements
Serum: Collect blood in a plain, red-top tube. (Hemolyzed specimen is not acceptable.) Centrifuge and send 1 mL of serum refrigerated.

Nonreactive (reported as reactive or nonreactive)
Reactive specimens are rechecked and sent to the NH State laboratory for confirmation.
