Specimen Requirements
Preferred: Serum
Draw blood in a plain, red-top tube. (Hemolyzed specimen is not acceptable.) Centrifuge, separate serum from cells within 2 hours of collection, and send 1 mL of serum refrigerated.
Note: Label specimen as “serum”
